At Plantshack South Africa, we take great care in packaging and preparing all plants to ensure they are dispatched in excellent condition. Due to the nature of live plants and third-party logistics, please review our return policy carefully.

1. Courier & Third-Party Damage

Plantshack South Africa does not take responsibility for damage caused by third-party courier services once an order has been dispatched. While we package plants securely and responsibly, transit conditions are beyond our control.

2. Packaging Standards

All plants are carefully packaged to protect roots, foliage, and pots during transit. Our packaging process is designed to minimise movement and damage as much as possible.

3. Reporting Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by sending a WhatsApp message to us. Your message must include:

  • Clear photos of the outer box
  • Photos of the internal packaging
  • Photos showing the condition of the plant(s) upon arrival

Failure to provide the required images may result in your claim being declined.

4. Refunds & Resolutions

Refunds, replacements, or store credit are assessed on a case-by-case basis after reviewing the submitted evidence. Approval is not guaranteed and will depend on the condition of the packaging, the plant, and the nature of the damage.

5. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the perishable and live nature of plants:

  • Plants are not eligible for returns
  • We do not accept returns for change of mind

6. Right to Decline

Plantshack South Africa reserves the right to decline any refund or replacement request if damage is deemed to be caused by third-party handling or if reporting requirements are not met.
