Description
Common Name: Epipremnum Pinnatum Golden Flame
Scientific Name: Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Golden Flame’
Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate medium light, but brighter conditions encourage stronger variegation and faster growth. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Water:
Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil is dry. Allow slight drying between waterings. Do not overwater, as this can lead to root rot.
Humidity:
Adapts well to average indoor humidity but thrives in moderate to high humidity. Higher humidity supports larger leaves and more vigorous growth.
Temperature:
Ideal temperature range is 18–28°C. Protect from cold drafts and avoid temperatures below 15°C.
Soil:
Use a well-draining, airy potting mix (standard indoor mix with perlite or orchid bark). Good drainage is essential for healthy root development.
Fertilizer:
Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Reduce feeding during winter.
Pruning:
Prune to control length and encourage fuller, bushier growth. Trim leggy vines just above a node to promote branching.
Toxicity:
Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
