Description

Common Name: Pothos Manjula
Scientific Name: Epipremnum aureum ‘Manjula’

Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light. Lower light conditions are tolerated but may reduce variegation and slow growth. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch leaves and fade variegation patterns.

Water:
Allow the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly, then allow excess water to drain completely. Sensitive to overwatering, so avoid consistently wet soil.

Humidity:
Adapts well to average indoor humidity but grows more vigorously in moderate to high humidity. No special humidity requirements, making it beginner-friendly.

Temperature:
Ideal temperature range is 18–30°C. Protect from cold drafts and avoid temperatures below 15°C.

Soil:
Use a well-draining potting mix with added perlite or bark for aeration. A standard indoor plant or aroid mix works well.

Fertilizer:
Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer. Reduce feeding during winter dormancy.

Pruning:
Prune vines to control length and encourage fuller, bushier growth. Trim leggy stems to maintain compact shape.

Toxicity:
Toxic if ingested to pets and humans. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
