Description

Common Name: Pothos Snow Queen
Scientific Name: Epipremnum aureum ‘Snow Queen’

Light:
Requires bright, indirect light to maintain strong white variegation. Can tolerate medium light, but growth will slow significantly and leaves may revert to greener forms. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch leaves.

Water:
Allow the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly, then allow excess to drain completely. More tolerant of slight dryness than overwatering, so avoid consistently wet soil.

Humidity:
Adapts well to average indoor humidity but prefers moderate levels for optimal growth. Higher humidity supports more vigorous growth and larger leaves.

Temperature:
Ideal temperature range is 18–30°C. Protect from cold drafts and avoid temperatures below 15°C.

Soil:
Use a well-draining indoor or aroid mix with perlite or orchid bark added for aeration. Proper drainage is essential to prevent root rot.

Fertilizer:
Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer. Reduce feeding in winter.

Pruning:
Prune regularly to encourage bushier growth and control trailing length. Removing leggy vines promotes fuller, denser plants.

Toxicity:
Toxic if ingested to pets and humans. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
